The term "Massage Therapist" refers to a variety of techniques specifically designed to relax muscles by applying pressure to them, against deeper muscles and bones, and rubbing in the same direction as the flow of blood returns to the heart.
Massage Therapy is a healing art with a history going back thousands of years. In many countries today, Massage Therapists and holistic health practitioners work side-by-side with other medical professionals. The demand for massage therapists has greatly increased over the past few years with the renewed interest in health and well being that is sweeping the country.

- Anatomy and physiology
- Intro to pathology
- Massage Theory
- Practicum I and II
- Business, Ethics
- Hydrotherapy
- Current Concepts in massage Therapy
- First Aid
- CPR / Defribillation
- General Review
- Clinical Internship
Course Length
The day Program typically consists of classes that meet four days a week, for 6 hours a day. The program duration is 32 weeks including vacation period and holidays.
