Before an operation, they prepare the O.R. by setting up surgical instruments and equipment, sterile drapes and sterile solutions. The assemble both sterile and non-sterile equipment and ensure it's working properly as well as observe patient's vital signs, check charts and assist the surgical team with putting on sterile gowns and gloves.

This program provides state-of-the-art operating room. Hands on interactive classes. Graduate in as little as 10 months with externship. After completion of the 10 months surgical technology program, student will be given the additional 3 months classes in Central Service instrumentation and material technician.
